I'm definitely saddened by both cancellations. They were both decent last episodes, but both had so much more potential to plum. Green Lantern, in particular, had an entire universe to explore and barely got to make use out of the rest of the Corps. Years and years of story to tell. So many things left untouched. I would've liked to see Black Hand and Qward and I'm DEFINITELY dismayed that Sinesto only got one episode(and without his yellow ring)! The writers are partly to blame. Both shows did drag their arcs along at times when they had so much to pull from. Could have took a page from the old Bruce Timm shows like JLA/JLU where, even when they had an over-arc, most stories lasted (at most) four episodes. That kept it fresh and exciting. Now, to see it replaced by a revamp of a sillier team show that was already cancelled and yet ANOTHER Batman show!? Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the Beware The Batman and the introduction of his newer rogues villains, but 1) Bullock--who is a driving creative force in the show--told me that they've had to retool the realistic weapons after the horrendous Aurora tragedy (which, to me, wont accomplish anything except to ruin the tone of the show), and 2) ENOUGH OF BATMAN! He's been my favorite character since childhood, but stop focussing on the fair weather/front-runner comic entertainment viewers. I completely understand that The Caped Crusader is a siren song character to draw in those who know little about the unsung heroes, but perhaps if DC, WB and CN promoted things better and got premium creative teams, they could change the marketability/mass appeal of the lesser-knowns. With a little more work there could be more money in their pockets down the line and tons of happy loyal fans.
Ok, enough ranting. In the future, I wouldn't mind seeing some straight to video GL Blurays based of of the animated series. When it comes to Young Justice, I think they tied it up well (although I wish we got more of a certain character that made a cameo in the closing scene). Two of the only criticisms I ever had about YJ, was that some big league baddies were used as background fodder, and that the voices seemed similar on a few of the characters. All in all, I was pretty satisfied with both. I hope the next DC Nation block is a worthy follow-up that attracts more viewers, allowing the introduction of some under-the-radar titles/unexpected hits down the line.

I saw Adam West and Burt Ward at Dragon Con. They are the most down to earth people you will ever meet. They love and appreciate their fans. I had copies of both their books that they had written (Back to the Batcave and Boy Wonder: My Life In Tights) and I had them signed. I shared a fist bump with Adam and Burt was very surprised to see that I had a copy of his book. He even asked me if I was over 18 to be able to read it. It was awesome meeting them and actually getting to ask a couple of questions while they were there. I loved them. They were awesome.
